I'm a bit late to the Chrissa party. I bought her (nude, so no review of the meet outfit) from Ebay in 2013 with the plan to customize her. From the beginning I had a love/hate relationship with her. First of all, I scratched her face when I removed her wig due to my own carelessness (I've managed to polish some of that away, but it's still there, although not terribly noticeable). Secondly, none of the customs I did really worked for her, although I must say she makes a great boy doll. In the end I put her original wig back and... I fell in love with her. Not my favorite doll in my collection, but definitely a beautiful doll, and somewhat unique compared to many other AG's. Her coloring is fantastic, and mine has a nice, thick wig that is still in good shape 5 years after she was GOTY.
If you can find a nice Chrissa on the secondary market, I'd recommend her. Especially since we've seen so many GOTYs that look more or less the same, Chrissa is actually kind of unique. I give the doll an A.
I disagree with other reviewers who say that Chrissa is not photogenic: I found that each time I wanted to sell her in the past year, I would see a gorgeous Chrissa photo and realize just how beautiful she is. Here's one that I took recently that I like.

I just bought this dress from AG and so obviously it is a recent Mattel one I have, and the leather on the vest does not look like the "pleather" shown above. It is a warmer brown color, more like the older style shown in the picture link above, and the design seems etched into it, not just printed on. So perhaps they went back to a better quality material? The hat is lovely, and the dress is really gorgeous on Josefina, who tends to look best in warmer tones. I don't have a picture with Josefina right now, but here is one of my custom doll, Jane, with the outfit. It does look best on Josefina, though.
I give this outfit an A+.

My DD picked this dress at AGDC last weekend for her Caroline doll. She particularly loves the gloves, and I think the overall prettiness of the dress is a great draw for the target audience. This morning she wanted to dress Caroline in a new outfit I had made, so I got the chance to dress my Elizabeth in it. Elizabeth is wearing it with Caroline's meet pantaloons and socks, and of course without the hair band, since their hair colors don't match. I think it is a lovely outfit. The only thing I am not crazy about is the hair that is part of the hair band - it looks weird and it limits the usefulness of the hair band. A nice simple gold band would have been a better choice.
I would give this outfit a solid A.
