This item was released in 2005 and retired with archival in 2010.Green velveteen cloak has a roomy hood and a hook closure underneath the bow.
Elizabeth's cloak (actually, her entire holiday outfit) is not an outfit I planned on buying, but I got it as a gift, and found that I liked it in person way more than on the web site. It's one of my favorites now! It's pretty and soft - looks like it would be quite warm! - and nicely constructed. It closes with a hook and eye at the neck, which seems to work out just fine (and means the little gold decorative ribbon at the neck stays "perfectly tied" all the time!) My Elizabeth enjoys wearing her cloak very much! (Note: I'll try to add pictures of Elizabeth modeling the cloak in the future. I took a bunch this morning, but they all came out too dark!) mod edit to remove broken image links

I own two versions of this gown, the first from the year it came out, and one was a more recent purchase (because I'd lost the petticoat from my original - which since turned up - yay that!) and so I've had an opportunity to compare the two. The biggest change I found was in the ribbon stomacher. It changed size, and the ribbon also changed color, from a bright pink, to a more sort of lavender-ish pink. I thought this was interesting.

I absolutely adore this set. It's so tiny and perfect! The only thing is that none of Felicity (or Elizabeth's) gowns would be appropriate over the pocket hoops! But, it's still adorable, and I'll just have to make a proper gown that goes with hoops!

I too find these hard to put on. They are a very tight fit, especially over stockings! But they are adorable, and so I love them anyhow!
