We went to the SF (Palo Alto) Opening weekend, and my DD, 13 fell in love with this outfit. She asked me to make it one of her Christmas presents, so we purchased it! I think it is a pretty set, and comes with so many pieces. The past holiday outfits have come close to this price, as we had to purchase the accessory sets separately, and combined put the outfit up over $60, so I did not think the price was a deterrent. Funny, when I opened the box, I did not remember the belt, and honestly, don't think it adds or detracts from the dress. We could take it or leave it! Since this is a gift, I did not take the shoes, gloves or tiara out of the wrap, but you can see some of the detailing by the pictures. I would rate the outfit an A- (only since I think the gown itself could have been make out of a better fabric. I am curious what the cape will look like over the Gown set from a couple years ago... I am drawing a blank on the name, think it is the Snow Flake Princess Gown, but in any case, I think the cape might look pretty with this gown as well! I agree with some of the other comments, that the gown looks good on the darker skinned dolls, and pictured is the doll from the store display in the gown! My DD can hardly wait to dress her new Saige in the gown! Here are some of my pictures: Gift Box: Bodice Detail: Cape Front: Velcro Tab closure Cape Inside/lining: Shoe Detail: Tiara Detail: Shoes, gloves and Tiara: Here is a picture from the store of a darker skinned doll in the gown:

Thanks for the pictures, SailorMolly! I had to order my DD's (for Christmas,) as they were sold out at AGPLA when we went in late September! I was planning on buying it, and the rest of the outfits of Kanani's while we were there, but fortunately, with the free shipping, I was able to order it before it sells out. It is a gorgeous shade of turquoise, and feels so soft! I can hardly wait for DD to be able to dress her Kanani in it!

Am I the only one who is bothered by how the side seams do not match up? I love this outfit, but cannot stand to view it from the side, as my eye keeps catching the mis-matched stripes on the side seam! I drop the outfit to a B+ due to the skirt!

I saw this in person at AGPLA, and when I had DD look at it, and she is a soccer player, she said, "Naw, no thanks!" I was surprised, since she is all over pinks and purples, but she thought the soccer ball looked cheap, and it was too expensive! (she was spending her own birthday cash, and thought it wasn't a value!) I bought her the Soccer Star Set as well, and gave that to her this year for her b-day!

I went to AGPLA, this month, and fell in love with Lindsey on display with all the retired GOTY's. My DD has continued to say how much she loves Lindsey, but I had yet to find one in good condition, and in her meet outfit! (I have been looking for over a year!) Well... we got back from our trip, and I happened to check CL, and found this beautiful girl in gorgeous condition, with her meet outfit, for a fair price! Best of all, the seller is an AGPT board member to boot! Now... will I give her to DD... I am smitten with this cutie-pie! She will be in hiding at least until Christmas!

Love, love, love this outfit! It is so cute when paired up with the girls version! My DD just loved taking Traveling Laurel around in matching attire!

My DD just got this set for her birthday, and the lady bugs in her jar are spot less, not meaning clean, but without spots!!!
I think $26 is too steap a price for this set, as the jacket is adorable, but the binoculars and bug jar are cute, but not for that pricing. I give it a B, but the jacket is a must have!

My daughter just loves this! We just don't have the space for the really big items, so this is fun, but without taking up a ton of space. Lanie looks way cute in it, and the green is such a pretty shade! When you move the pillow up toward the top, the hammock is plenty long enough for Lanie to lay completely down. We give it an A, since it is durable, well made and has lots of play value!

How about a newly adopted Gwen, who did not come in her meet dress, in her new eyelet dress?

I was able to buy this dress on clearance this past November (08), and it has to be my favorite dressy dress my daughter has ever owned! I bought her a size seven and it ran perfectly true to size. The detachable collar and cuffs make it nice to be able to remove if she gets too hot! I did find the cuffs to be unbelievably large in circumference. They are too big for my wrists, let alone a little girls! I just safety pin them onto the sleeve bottom, and they are working just fine!
She got so many compliments from pretty much anyone who saw her in the dress! It made a big hit when she and Ruthie dressed alike to see Santa!
I give the dress and A++ (even with the huge cuffs!)
Check it out in my siggy below!

I love this outfit and give it an "A" for everything! I like the bright pink, and the boots look divine with a number of other pieces we have for mix and matching.
I like it better than the newer winter outfit shown on Kit, but that is my daughter's and this Ski trip is my own!

This is the Ice Dance Outfit from 2002. It is a beautiful shade of sky blue, with beaded accents on the neckline and sleeves of the dress, and matching beading on the headband.
It does not come with tights, but the skates are just the cutest, with shimmery silver and blue flecks in the sherpa tops, and blue laces that coordinate the outfit perfectly. The skate guards are also a shimmery blue.
It comes with a small stuffed blue bear, that my set was missing, (from eBay,) a Gold medal and Grin pins.
I rate this outfit A+, and like it much better than it's modern cousin, Mia's Silver Skate Dress.
The skirt can snag easily on the velcro, so dress with caution!

I would rate this outfit an A+! There are very few things I will pay after-market prices for, and this was one of them! My daughter decided after the fact, in Jan. that she really wanted this outfit. I waited and got it on eBay for $36.00, and I still rate it an A+!
Great colours, great design and just too cute and accurate in the styling! I'd wear this on the slopes!

This is a very cute and fun item for my daughter to play with, but I have to say, I am a bit disappointed in the noise of the motor, and the lack of speed to the rotation. I was not expecting spinning sit spins, but I thought it would rotate just a bit faster! Although it plays music, the motor sound is quite loud and you can hear it drone over the two tracks that play with a push of a button.
I would rate it a "B-" since my daughter just loves it, and she plays with both scenes and dresses Mia accordinally, but due to the noise and slow speed, it drops in ranking!

I bought this trunk specifically for my Marisol, to keep all her outfits together, and to store her, as she is my own personal doll, and I wanted to keep her collection separate from my daughter's. I love this trunk, and the dance theme. It holds all of Marisol's outfits (4), and although the trunk that is exclusive to Mari, is designed to hold all her gear, it does not allow for hanging. I now have her Jazz outfit in here as well, and it holds everything! I do have to keep the tap shoes alongside the shoe box, but everything else fits inside the box, tights, hair items, warmers, etc... It even has little hooks on the side that I can hang her boas on as well! I rate it an "A", and love that it is lavender and not pink!!!

Although it is cute, we find it to be too small for two dolls, and like mentioned above, it is unsteady to carry with one doll. My daughter does not like how messed up her doll's hair gets, since they are not protected when carried in it. She just uses it when she goes to a friend's house and wants to bring some clothing and accessories with her. I would rate it a "C-."
