McKenna arrived here yesterday. I thought she wasn't going to come due to the fact that I also have #39 and Chrissa, but I couldn't pass her up with the latest code. I love her wig, it's among the most playable of all my girls. It's not as thick as I expected but that's OK. I've had bad luck with Josie mold girls (needed 3 Chrissas before I finally got one to stick), but this Mickey (her nickname) seems pretty good to me. My only regret about McKenna is I wish she'd have come with the Marie-Grace mold as that would have made her slightly more unique, but that's OK I suppose. Solid B+ for the grade. Pics forthcoming.

I'm in love with this girl!
I got her from a board member. This girlie's eyes are almost indigo, a lovely shade. Darker than my other blue-eyed girls and lighter than Kit and Nellie's. And her wig is NOT thin, unlike my other curly-haired gals. It is very full. Her hair isn't as red as I want but oh well. Gotta deal.

My Hilary (#32) and Natalie (#39) both came with this outfit. It's cute, and something my niece (12) might wear. I agree with others that the hoodie is difficult to get on and off, but I like the leggings and shoes as mix-and-match pieces for a variety of outfits.

I am so madly, crazy, in love with this girl. Despite having Nicki, I do not regret buying her.
Her name is Natalie Noelle Spencer.
Several things I noted about this girl. First, her wig seems to be hit or miss; this one had a couple lumps in it despite being very thick. So, I'm sending it back.
Second, she is CHUBBY! Almost as thick as my PM girlies. And she has fairly broad shoulders and an 'ample' derriere, lol.
One last shot of this beauty:
Another Natalie-and-Nicki comparison shot
Nicki is on the left, Natalie is on the right. Both girls are barefooted. Natalie is considerably shorter, and she is also stockier. Also, Natalie has smaller eye sockets and eyes that are slightly further apart than Nicki does. Both are really cute.
Natalie has great hair that is not only shiny but it pretty much NEVER gets tangled.

I completely adore this girl. Her name is Sasha Devon Moore.
She was an impulse purchase from Ebay in January '09. When I got her her hair was a sad mess. On top of that, her eyelash was retracting. So, a trip to the doll hospital later and she looks like a new girl.
She's more of a display dollie for me because I'm afraid to screw up her curls. And she has such a unique eye color.

Several Lindseys have graced this household. Two, however, remain.
Lindsey #1 (in my avatar) is more of a display doll. She is complete with her full 'meet' outfit. She had a head replacement in October of 2009.
I think, more and more, that Lindsey #2 is my fave of them. She's out and about. Her face is so cute and has very much that 'childlike' expression of sweetness and anticipation. She's always searching for her next adventure or her next opportunity to help someone that goes wrong, lol. Ever since she came back from the doll hospital in December I can't stop staring.

I was skittish about the #14 I bought from member katieshc at first, didn't know what to do with her since I really wanted a PM #14 to be a character I've had in mind for years, but boy have I warmed up to her. She looks good in ANYTHING.
Here is Marie-Antoinette (#14) in Kit's Christmas dress. Red is STUNNING on her!
The only thing I'm not a fan of is the way her hair flips out at the end. It's the one thing that bothered me about #23 as well. Other than that, though, she is an absolute beauty! If you're on the fence, get her before she's gone!

I got this last week from Ebay and now I'm wondering why I didn't get this sooner.
My outfit came complete, Haley (above) is just not pictured wearing the beret, but it was there too. I'm not a fan of the poncho or flower, but love everything else. The skirt is a bit short for my taste though, and this outfit would only fit the smaller, newer dolls. Other than that it's great. It's got a lot of mix-and-match potential. There was also a little Travel Planner (not pictured) which was nothing more than a little pamphlet for girls to 'plan' their trips and has a checklist to make sure they have what they need.
I purchased it for my Haley to go traveling in, and it will not disappoint. I give this an A overall.

My Haley (#23) has virtually claimed this one, though I bought it for my Nicki -- it's my favorite of the Nicki outfits and is so versatile. I got everything but the belt, from a board member. It's a nice summery set, sure to keep your dolly cool. A+.

Picked up #27 in an Ebay lot in April 2009. I planned on selling her but I ended up rewigging her and adoring her look. She has no name yet, but I've got a list of 10 now I'm trying to narrow down from.
The pros -- Dark blue eyes like Kit, feathered brows, and non-removable earrings. The cons -- Her wig seems to be hit or miss.

I scored my sweet PM Samantha for $10 at an outdoor flea market yesterday and I have to say she's gorgeous! I don't know what era she's from, but I will say she has a tan body, her curls have stayed in place magnificently, her dress tag says Made in Germany for Pleasant Company, and she has a sweet, impish face.

I got everything with this outfit except the barrettes when I bought it used. Haley CLAIMS she doesn't like the style of the outfit, and she thinks the skirt is too short, but she looks ADORABLE in it:
I like it that every piece in this outfit can be mixed and matched with others.
I'm also thinking that perhaps different shoes and socks would suit Haley better.

Chrissa arrived today... and I have to say I'm in LOVE with her coloring, which is making me want a JLY with dark brown hair & blue eyes.
However, this particular doll could use some improvements, and I may be sending this doll back to AG. Her wig has some flyaway hairs that I can't tame, and her left eye is ever so slightly off-center. (See pics)
UPDATE: I've gotten another Chrissa and sent her back due to wig issues, so now I'm on my 3rd Chrissa. She seems to be hit and miss when it comes to quality. So here's the new girl: See for yourself:
So far, through my inspection, this one looks like a keeper.

Harriet (my #18) came in this outfit; it had everything but the boots. I like pieces of it, but not all of it together, the people who said it seemed too dressy for a young kid, I agree with. However, I did find a doll that it suited, and that was Hilary (#3)

It's not my favorite 'meet' outfit, but it is serviceable. IMO only certain types of dolls can pull it off. The only one in my collection who can is Harriet (#18) and this was not the meet outfit she came in, it was the purple one with the cardigan.
I like the hoodie and the skirt but could do without the vest. The shoes are okay, I had a pair like those.

When I finally got the courage to take Mia out of the box, it was clear to me that I didn't like her 'meet' outfit. Especially the way it fit her -- very bunchy, makes her look 'fat.' And it was difficult to remove as well, especially the skirt. Thankfully, unlike Nicki, Mia does have underwear.
The doll herself is wonderfully unique -- she has strawberry blond hair that's very brushable and gorgeous hazel eyes. And her freckle pattern is very different from Haley (#23) or Nicki.
I'm having trouble deciding if she'll stay as Mia.

Here's my #3, Hilary. She's Mattel and I have to say she's BEAUTIFUL. Among the prettiest of my dolls -- and she didn't start out that way.
Hilary began 'life' as an Ebay rescue. After months of wrangling, I finally decided to ship her to AG for a new head, and these are the results.
Her hair is so shiny and silky. I am not sorry I got her. I wasn't sure about another blond after Meredith but I don't regret it. Since she has an early 2000s body she doesn't fit a lot of the newer Mattel clothes, she's 'chubby.'
I sold her in September 2009 to buy #32 for the character and regret it, lol.

I adore this one too! This is another one of those 'classic' AG outfits that seem to never go out of style. The only thing I don't like on it are the sandals, which seem a bit flimsy, but I can also chalk it up to age.
When I had Nicki wear it, I paired it with her meet boots with much better results.

I love this bunches as well. I picked it up in a lot of AG clothing on Ebay, and I have everything except the necklace. It's a little big on Haley (but I like it like that), and it also fits my PM Katarina well, too. I like that every piece is able to be mixed and matched with others. It still looks very stylish and not dated at all!
