I think the piano is really cute and a great accessory (most of my girls play piano because I do), but I hate how hard it is for the dolls to sit at the piano! I have to have mine awkwardly balanced so their bottoms are not on the bench, which leaves black marks on their legs. (Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of this, I'll try to remember to take one soon.) Other than that, I love it, though. I wish the music in the piano books were a little more challenging, or contained the recorded pieces (Fur Elise is one of them, there's a Bach one, and I don't remember the other right now). Pictures: Margie plays the piano. Notice that she is sitting strangely You can see here how Marjorie is balanced on her knees to adequately reach the keyboard with her fingers (Usually I have them wear skirts so you can't see how awkward this is) One of my favorite pictures =) The girls' little piano currently resides on top of our grand, so when I play, I face my dollies playing. I've gotten a lot of compliments on that setup! Overall, I'd give it an A-. The minus is for how they can't actually sit at it, haha.

Some holiday pictures of Mara: I think she's very striking in the black! Red is not my favorite color for her, but she's still cute! I'm a big fan of this doll. I've had her since 2000, and her hair is still as shiny and gorgeous as day one. Her eyes are a great color, too. A+!

Here's Margie after getting freckled and ears pierced: Holiday wear (I think she looks gorgeous in the Scarlet and Snow outfit): LOVE the eye color! And her new PJs we made for her: I give her an A+. Not just because AG finally made the perfect eye/hair color combination (finally us hazel eyed blondes get some love, we don't all have blue eyes you know!), but she's very high quality. Her hair looks good whatever I try to do to it, and I think the pin curls are very adorable, and not all that hard to deal with. She looks really good in hats, too.

Here she is in her holiday outfit: One of my favorite JLYs, even though she's retired. Gorgeous with A+ hair! Mine does have bubble eye, but it makes her unique. =)

I like the fact that the jeans are flared; however, they don't really fit the butt on my dolls (they fit PM better than Mattel dolls, though). I think the sweater is okay, but I wish it were more finished on the bottom edge (it seems to me like it looks "cleaner" to tuck the shirt in, but then my doll looks dorky). The shoes and socks are pretty great, though-- the shoes are black leather boot things, and they're really easy to put on/take off. Laces are a little slippery. I LOVE the purple socks!

I think this outfit is really boring. I was pretty disappointed when I got my #21 and saw that she came in this. The shirt isn't really that versatile, but I do like the shirt and the boots with jeans tucked into them. That's really the only way I've found to adequately mix-n-match this.

I liked this outfit better than the newer ones, but it's not my favorite. I've never known anyone who would actually WEAR something like that, but go figure (although the shoes are pretty typical late 90s-early 00s). This outfit only looks good (IMHO) on the doll it came on, which is a #8. I HATE the snaps in the hoodie; they came off really soon after I got the outfit. Meaning, it doesn't snap now because the snaps are snapped together on one side of the fabric. Grr.

I think it's the best meet outfit so far, even though it's so dated. It seems like in the "old days", the meet outfits were heartier and had more pieces, nicer fabric, etc. I have this one, the urban one from 2000, and the ILYS one from 2007, and this one is the most high-quality.
I never put my grin pins on it, though. Haha. I put them on a box, which is now covered with them.
Mine came with the velvet flats, but my friend's didn't. My sister's did, though.

Here's Mara! (My #8) I don't think she looks as good in it as Margie (#21, see avatar) does... but her green eyes sure do pop!

Margie, my mini-me: (Please excuse my awkwardness, the doll is much cuter! Hahah) Her favorite hobby (she also plays flute and guitar)

Here's Mara, I got her in 2000 and I'm pretty sure she's PM (she has red eyelashes and a fat body): Creepy eyes, but non-blurry:

Here's Marjorie (1996 PM GoT): With her friends Mara (#8) and Margie (#21): Even though Marjorie was bought as a "me" doll when I was 11, I'm turning her into a historical character from 1994. Margie has replaced her as the new "me" doll, but Marjorie has always been my girl (and Molly's bff, I might add).
