Mine is PC as well. I got it with my Addy when I got her for Christmas a hundred years ago as a young'un. It was always my favorite and Addy did live in it for a long, long time, LOL. It is a bit brighter than catalog pics make out, but it isn't as bright as Goo's seems and yes, the colors do compliment Addy's skintone and overall coloring beautifully. I never thought the material to be too thin, and it holds up well to storage. The ribbon I also love... it's such a lovely green!
This outfit is definitely a favorite of mine still. I think it's one of the looks that every little girl wears for Christmas at some point in her childhood... ahh, how our mothers do love tartan plaid.
My grade: A+

I just got Nellie on Sunday at AGPLA. The Samantha/Nellie section was a warzone too, and there were only two Nellies left in the section. She is really a knockout in person... so sweet. And we bonded quite nicely on the 2 hour ride home (my mom drove, so I got to snuggle her XD). She's got a cute face, her hair is easy to deal with, and I love her meet outfit. I like the color of it on her. The shoes are the same as Sam and Molly's, and they are what they are. I've never had that much difficulty with them myself, but I do wish that there was something that at least seemed a little more period appropriate. I give her an A+++! Here she is at tea at AGP this sunday:

I love this dress. At first, seeing AG's pics of it, I didn't like it, but seeing pictures on here and other sites like this sorta changed my mind. Then at AGPLA over the weekend I saw it in person and that definitely changed my mind! It looks really sweet on Nellie... I thought the pastel color would wash out her complexion, but I think it actually brings it out. And the shoes are really cute IMO. I have the same gripe with the sleeves, although I just push them up and it actually looks sorta cute that way.

I just got this outfit today and rushed to put her in it. I love it! So charming. It's simple and appropriate but still so cute. The grey of the outfit seems a little lighter in person than in pictures though, but the whole effect is quite stunning really. A++

I love this one! I've had it since I was a kid too. The pieces are really versatile. The only thing I don't like are the shoes. Mine actually came with different shoes... flimsy sandals that were meant to be flip-flops with beads on the toes. They're made of that soft "leather" material... They look alright, but they don't stay on in play very well.

This outfit is really cute. I got it as a kid in probably '99 or 2000. But just a warning, if you live somewhere hot, take extra care of how you store it, because it can melt and stick together. Trust me. *sigh* (You can fill a book with the stuff I didn't know back then that I now wish I did!)

I got my Samantha in August for my birthday, and she is so gorgeous. Her hair is really soft, and unlike some dolls, she looks just like her pictures. She's absolutely stunning. I like her outfit a lot too, but I won't go into detail since there's a seperate thread for that. Doll : A+++ Book : A- (Her hair is a little frizzy at the moment, but that's my fault )

I got Nicki last year. The doll herself is beautiful... sweet expression on her face, soft beautiful hair and the freckles... I'm a sucker for the freckles. The hair can get messy easily, but that can be expected of curly haired gals. She's also just as huggable as I expected. The outfit is alright. It's cute enough, but the shirt/bodysuit kinda bugs me. I would have preferred a real shirt that would fall just at her waist or a tiny bit past it... I like leaving shirts untucked, and that would have given me lots of possibilties for cute casual looks. And I am of course bothered by the lack of underwear. Really AG? It's just weird. I really love the boots though... the color is so neutral she can wear them with lots of fun outfits. The skirt is cute, but I would have liked it a little better if the belt wasn't attached. Doll : A++ Outfit : B Book : A-

I love my little mini Samantha. The hair can get messy, but honestly it has less flyaways than my full-sized Samantha does. I agree that she's one of the cutest mini dolls... Mini Sam and Mini Nellie are as cute as they can be sitting together. My grade: A

I just got my Sam in August for my birthday, and I rather like this outfit. The material is nice and lightweight, so it was more summer friendly than some of her other dresses. The colors in the dress are nice... I think they look fab on her coloration. The tights are really nice too. And I adore the bloomers. The shoes are alright... I don't mind the way they look so much, and they are really versatile. I give the outfit an A.
