Here is a comparison of Lanie's orangutan vs. Jess's Toshi
Toshi is much skinnier--- the orang. has lots of stuffing and a cuter face but no tail and no velcro on it's hands/feet.

I had been waiting for this dress from the moment the Julie books were released, it's my favorite outfit in her collection. It's very well made

This outfit was released in 2007 and retired in 2009. It is mentioned in the book Julie Tells Her Story, although it is not shown in illustrations. The outfit was released along with the School Bleachers as part of Julie's first basketball collection. Julie had a second basketball collection (with a Basketball Uniform and Basketball Accessories) from 2017-2019. In February 2010, a third basketball collection was released, with the Basketball Court, Home Game Uniform, and Home Game Accessories; the Home Game Accessories included a rerelease of the alley oop gym bag, basketball, and sweatband from this set.
After earning the chance to play on the team, Julie can’t wait to suit up in her new Jack London Jaguars uniform. Julie’s ready to be a star player with everything here: A basketball jersey screen-printed with No. 22; matching gym shorts; striped knee socks; and canvas basketball shoes, A red, white, and blue basketball and a terry headband, A finger splint she must wear after a painful fall during the big game, A gym bag printed with “Alley Oop” — Julie’s nickname given by her best friend, Ivy.
This outfit is much cuter in real life than on ag.com. All the pieces are high quality. At first I was hesitant to buy it b/c of the price- $28- but it's really like getting an outfit and accessory set in one so it's not so bad. My favorite parts are her nice thick socks and shoes- they are really well made. The bag is roomy and holds the ball and her finger splint.

This item was introduced at Julie's debut in 2007 and retired in August 2014, when it was replaced with the second (BeForever) version.
In times of change, Julie’s accessories keep her upbeat: A crocheted cap, A shiny gold necklace with a “Julie” name charm, A faux-suede purse with printed flower detail, A pretend Bicentennial quarter — a collectible coin that was issued to celebrate the 200th anniversary of America’s independence.
(retired8/28/14)
I bought Julie's accessories along with the doll since that saves a little money. The crochet cap is pretty cute- I think Julie looks better without it though. Her purse is nice and think- feels like real leather, it snaps closed. I left the bicentennial quarter in it's bag- I usually end up losing the coins. I like the necklace a lot- it's nice heavy metal. Looking at pictures I thought it would be like stamped aluminum or something, but it is good quality. I wish it was a little longer- seems a little tight on her turtleneck.

This item was released in 2007 and retired in 2015. It is part of Julie's first bedroom collection; other parts of this release include her Bed & Bedding I and Room Accessories. During the BeForever era (2015-2019), these were replaced with Julie's second bedroom collection (which included her Zigzag Pajamas, Bed & Bedding II, and Daisy Vanity Set). In October 2019, the third bedroom collection was released (with her Pajamas & Robe, Groovy Bed & Bedding, and Bedside Table & Shag Rug).
Fluttering butterflies and flared legs give Julie's PJs distinctive 70s style. Includes pajama pants, an empire-waist tunic, and a pair of pink velour slippers with a butterfly embroidered on each toe.
Julie's pajamas are a lot nicer than I was expecting. They are a nice thick material and very plush. Soft and cuddly- the butterfly trim and bow are pretty. These are nice and roomy on Julie.
The slippers are adorable. I like how the back of the slippers is cloth instead of a clear plastic band. The plastic ones break really easy, so these are much better.

I got Julie today and she's adorable. She's much prettier in person and her coloring looks softer- In the photos taken at the AGP's she kinda looked like malibu Barbie- but her hair is not so platinum in real life. Her hair is the exact same texture as Kailey's. Love her in pigtails. She has the clipped hairs in her wig to cover the wig cap.

I didn't see a review on here for this one so here goes. I just got this Cheerleader Outfit today- I bought it because they lowered the sale price and I'm glad I did because it's sold out now. I'm assuming it's now retired.
It's very well made and fits nice. Comes with the pleated skirt, shell top, panties, white socks with stripe, REALLY cute sneakers, yellow scrunchie and two pom poms. I think this outfit looks especially good on the dolls with blue eyes. The pom poms are really fluffy and attach to the dolls hands with blue elastic bands. This is my favorite of all the cheerleader outfits so far.

I just got Jess last week and I love her. I wasn't planning on getting her but with her retiring soon I went ahead and ordered her. She's gorgeous- so much prettier in person than on the AG website.

Here's some pics of this outfit on my Kailey. I think it looks cute on her but I actually ended up returning it b/c I like some of the retired holiday outfits better and wanted those.

Here's my GT 20 Blonde hair w/bangs and soft gray eyes. This doll is mattel and her name is Hollyanne. She looks great in a lot of outfits, I keep thinking I want to sell her to get the one with blue eyes, but I just can't b/c she's too cute. Here's a pic:

I don't see either of my today girls on here, so here's a review This is my GT 17 with Red hair and pretty blue eyes. Her name is Delaney and she's PM - her meet outfit was the red vinyl jumper. Her hair looks dark in the photo, but its much redder in real life. I think she looks best in blue clothes. I don't think this doll is very popular because I very rarely see pics of her on here or hostboard. #17 never really appealed to me until I saw her in an eBay auction and she had the sweetest face. I just got this outfit yesterday- its really pretty on Nicki. The skirt is a nice soft mesh with pretty embroidery and I think the jacket is unique. The shoes are adorable- they took me a few minutes to figure out how to get them on but its easy now- I love how they are elastic and you don't have to tie a ribbon.

I think this is my favorite Nicki outfit- I bought it yesterday. I like it better with Nicki's meet boots than the sandals:

This is the Bitty Baby Layette retired set- this is similar to the set that can currently be purchased except it comes with a matching onesie. You can find the set with the onesie easily on eBay. This is my favorite Bitty outfit. The hat has two points and lavender embroidery that says Bitty Baby. The matching onesie is a super soft knit and I like that it snaps at the neck and crotch- no velcro. This looks great layered under several other Bitty outfits. Also included is a pair of yellow/lavendar socks that are cute and the yellow knit blankie

Your Kirsten doll has bright blue eyes that open and close, and beautiful blond hair that you can brush, braid, and tie with ribbons. She has a huggable, soft body with head, arms, and legs that you can pose. She can sit, stand, and hold the accessories in her collection. Kirsten comes in a blue calico dress - her first real American dress. It has a "grow stripe" at the bottom that her mother let out as she grew taller. She wears the red and white apron she brought from Sweden. Her brown-striped stockings are covered by fancy pantalettes. Girls took pride in keeping pantalettes snowy white - a hard thing to do in muddy fields and cabins on the prairie. Soft brown lace-up boots complete her outfit. Your Kirsten doll comes, as shown here, with a Meet Kirsten book.I didn't see anyone post pics of a PM Kirsten with a tan body, so here's mine- I think she's from the mid 90's Compared to a Mattel Kirsten Stephanie
