This outfit is worn by Cécile in the books Meet Cécile and Troubles for Cécile. It was released with her collection in 2011 and retired with her archival in 2014.This outfit helps keep Cécile warm and well-dressed when the New Orleans weather turns cool: A golden taffeta jacket, adorned with two rows of buttons and pleated-ribbon edging. Gathered sleeves and a lacy collar make a white cotton blouse festive. A clover-print skirt is the perfect accent piece. Two purple ribbons tie her curls back for the finishing touch.I couldn't help but get this outfit for Addy. My Addy is PM so she does look a little chunkier than slender Cécile. The whole outfit does fit. Addy is wearing her own crinoline in the pic, so Addy's does work with the outfit. I think the purple looks amazing with Addy's coloring. PS, I was wondering how the jacket goes on before I got it, the straps in the front have velcro on one side. I'm impressed with how it looks. Attachments:

I could not resist Cécile's Fancy Dress for my Addy. My Addy is also PM, so it is a bit snug, but still fits. Addy is wearing her own crinoline, so in case you were wondering it does fit under the dress. Attachments:

I got my mini Lissie today and I am so much happier than I expected to be. I found AG's Stock photo to be pretty bad.
Anyway, The lace fits the doll much better than I expected. It's not to scale, bot doesn't seem as bad in person as in the pictures. The ribbon trim is darling. The shoes are very nicely made and go high enough up her foot so she won't lose them too easily.

Madly in love with my new mini Kirsten.
The color of her hair is exactly like my recent mini Kirsten with the different toned streaks. I'm in love with the sweet bows, but want to note that they are not tied around the braid. They are actually bows that are attached to the clear bands holding the braids at the bottom. I suspect if you take out the braids the bands will break and you will be left with a bow with no way to re-attach it without your own thread.
The pantaloons and socks are identical to the current regular mini. The red boots are the same as the regular's boots, only red on top with black laces instead of brown all over.
Here's my pic with my glass-eyed Kirsten and a current mini Kirsten:

I just want to add that the base is not made of plastic. It is wood. The top is solid plastic and the three flowers are fabric. I'm much happier with the price now that I've had time to handle it an really examine it.

Okay, I did buy these, but I'm not really impressed by them.
You get Kanani's dog Barksee (a stuffed dog, not a hard Coconut-type), a print bag, a book on Hawaiian Sea Animals, 2 photos/postcards, a tourist pamphlet on Hawaii, and a plastic camera.
It's all cute, but simple and there are no hidden features. The cameral is plastic, the paper is paper, and the bag is a bag. Barksee is really the best part of the set.
Oh, and the bag is large enough to hold the newspaper that comes with the Monk Seal.

Okay, I'm terrible with writing reviews. I wouldn't own the doll if I didn't like her so I'm biased. Anyway...
She is medium skinned with hazel eyes, light brown hair, and a Jess mold. She may have the longest hair of any AG ever. She gives Kaya a run for her money.
Her limbs are held on with knotted elastic. She was the first doll I picked out and they are just like normal. Not too tight, not too lose. The cups inside her arms and legs are a different design than the ones in my other dolls. Maybe it is a better design to work with the knots.
Her meet outfit consists of a dress, necklace, sandals, undies, and a flower hair clip. I added some barrettes in the picture because she has so much hair.

The box itself appears to be made of wood, and the internal parts of plastic. It does not come flat. The box it comes in is HUGE. They had a few behind the register when I bought my items in Natick.

The laptop fits into the bag easily. There isn't a lot more room, but it is easy to get the laptop in. You can fit the screens in with the laptop and Lanie's letters and postcards can fit in a front pocket.

Pepper is a beautiful husky puppy with piercing blue eyes! Unlike Coconut, Pepper is not sitting, but standing on 4 legs. She is hard like Coconut and her friends.
She comes only with a collar and nothing else. No pet journal like some previous pets.

I'm in love! The tunic is adorable, and the emboiderly on the pants is much nicer than I expected. The sandals are a little snug, but still go on and off pretty easily. I'm not a bucket hat girl, but it really does complete the outift. The bracelet can be adjusted to fit both PM and Mattel dolls. I would never garden in this outfit (with all it's white) but it really is adorable, modern, and age appropriate.

The laptop screens come off their paper backing and cling to the laptop.
PS, the "Lanie" can be removed from the bag. It took me a while today, but it left minimal damage. Had I been more patient I think it could have come off with no damage at all.
PPS. The bracelet is large enough to fit on my Sonali OVER the wilderness outfit's shirt.

Great dress, really nice color palette, the shoes come on and off really easily, and the jacket has a functioning button. I'm especially happy with all the eyelit in the dress.

Addy's outfit was sold without the jewlery in the last outlet Sale (I think it was in June). I got one of those ones from a member of these boards and really don't miss the jewlery.

I was suprised that this set was only $42 when it was released, but now that I have it I think it is a fair price.
The desk is really cute by itself. The desk part slides so your doll can adjust it to fit.
I am disappointed that a doll doesn't look very comfortable at her desk.
I love the Accessories it comes with. The math book is literally the updated version of the math book from older school sets. It is adorable. The pencil case is functional, but has nothing to put in it. It matches the new lunchbox more than the current backpack which dissappoints me a little. Finally the folder is darling and includes several homework sheets. They are just too cute for words!!!

Found today at the AGBB in Natick, MA.
This Hoodie looks like it's short sleeved and being worn over a gray shirt, but it is actually all one piece. Reads American Girl on the back.

I found this one today at the AGBB in Natick, MA. it is made of silver "windbreaker" material. Overall, very cute.
My only complaint is that it just fits Mattel dolls, I think PMs might have a hard time zipping it up.

This set was introduced in 2009 and retired in 2015.
Rebecca’s family believes a good education is the key to success, and hopes that she will be a teacher someday. Her school supplies include: A pretend lunch, featuring cheese bagel, rolled cookies called Rugalach, pickles, and a lace-trimmed napkin A sturdy fabric lunch box to hold her goodies Sheet music for “You’re a Grand Old Flag,” a patriotic song Rebecca wants to sing at the school assembly A doll-sized American flag for Rebecca to wave while she sings A pencil, a notebook, and a pretty drawstring bag
This is a great set, but I wish they had made the school bag separate from the lunch. I feel the lunch is the same quality (or better) than any other lunch, but the school bag is lacking.
The lunch fits nicely inside the box and the box has a functional buckle to hold it closed.
The school bag is nice, and the drawtring means Rebecca can hold it herself. Everything fits into the bag. The pocket in front is real with a functioning button. The Kewpie doll notebook is mentioned in "Rebecca to the Rescue" and the sheet music and flag are from "Rebecca and Ana." The pencil is functional. I wish there were more school-ish supplies.

This outfit was introduced in 2009 and retired in 2015.
Rebecca can stay warm on her way to school in this outfit, featuring: A ribbed button-front cardigan sweater with black trim A pleated herringbone skirt with an attached underwaist White stockings and black boots with button details A blue grosgrain hairbow to sweep back her wavy hair
Love the outfit, but I wish the skirt was really a skirt. It's described as a skirt on the packaging, but, well, you can see in the picture. It's a skirt attached to an undershirt. I'd rather pay a few more dollars and get a separate skirt and shirt. In the end it doesn't hurt the outfit, it just gives it less mix and match potential.
Love that this outfit comes with a pair of boots.

This set was introduced in 2009 and retired in 2014.
On cool mornings, Rebecca loves to wear her blue print robe with wide satin trim, fancy closures, and a satin sash. Her felt slippers have contrasting blue trim and a pom-pom at each toe.
I'm totally in love with the slippers. They are all felt and fit Rebecca better than any of the slippers my other dolls have. The robe is nice too. It's mostly flannel with silky trim.

This item was introduced in 2009 and retired in 2015, when it was replaced by her Satin Pajamas.
These sleeveless pajamas are ideal for hot summer nights, when Rebecca sometimes sleeps outside on the fire escape to keep cool. Her one-piece pajamas are trimmed in lace and blue satin bows, and come with a matching hairbow.
Rebecca's Pajamas are a single piece that opens in the back for dressing her. They come with a matching blue ribbon.

This dress and hat were introduced in 2009 and retired in 2018.
Cousin Max gives Rebecca a special surprise for her tenth birthday—a visit to a motion picture studio! Once there, Rebecca gets to wear this beautiful outfit, featuring: A high-fashion dress featuring ribbon rosettes on the ruffled chiffon bodice, an ombré sash, a fitted underskirt, and a handkerchief hem A flower-trimmed hat that was a birthday gift from cousin Max White T-strap shoes and a fleur-de-lis pendant necklace
The dress is pretty, but I can't get the hat to fit on Rebecca. It just balances on. Dress also comes with a choker and sandals.

The first version of Rebecca's Meet Accessories were available with her launch in May 2009, and they were retired and replaced with the second version with the BeForever revamp in August 2014.
Rebecca needs these accessories to stay warm on her walk to school in New York City: A black velveteen hat with a floral ribbon A Russian shawl to wrap around her shoulders A rabbit pin that is very dear to Rebecca—it was a gift from her grandmother
The meet accessories are a little sparse for $24. You get a hat, a shawl/scarf, and a pin. If the pin (and actually the scarf) didn't show up in "Meet Rebecca" as prominently I'd have skipped the set altogether.
I actually really love the hat on Rebecca.
The scarf pattern is printed, not woven, so it only appears on one side of the fabric. The other side is white.
I'm disappointed in the pin because it isn't actually a pin. It's more of a clip. I was hoping to pin it to all of Rebecca's outfits but with the clip the way it is it really only works with Rebecca's meet outfit.

Released May 2009.
Bring Rebecca’s story to life! The Rebecca doll is 18 inches tall with a soft cloth body, and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl.
My only complaint thus far is that the Meet dress is a bit difficult to get on and off. The sleeves are tight and the velcro doesn't go down low enough in the back.

The hairband is pretty sturdy. I suppose you could break it if you tried, but it shouldn't break from any sort of use I'd consider normal.

All I can say is ugh!!! I got these off the site while they still had the picture of the wire framed glasses, you can't even imagine how upset I was when these showed up.
They look like a cheap, shiny, plastic toy, like some sort of tacky party favor.

I got the cookies and the donuts off. (I ordered them as replacement parts, I don't have the rest of the set.) The cookies came off nice and neat. The donuts... well, I don't have a tray for them anymore...

I currently have the tableware. It doesn't contain anything by way of food just 2 place settings, balloons, a pitcher, a sign and a butterfly clip. The plates, etc are plastic so they should last.
I got it pretty cheap a month or so back. It really isn't that great. If I had paid full price I'd have been really upset.
