My first CYO (blonde) was ordered in oct 2019 , My second CYO (redhead) was ordered in Jan 2020. The blonde has the classic light skin tone, light blonde hair and the light blue eyes. I was thinking that the “light blue” eye option would be similar to Grace, or Emily’s eyes, but they are noticeably darker. The redhead has the new light/pale skin tone, red hair and green eyes. Again, the eyes are a lot darker in person than what is seen online. The lips have an orange tone to them. They compliment the yellow undertones of the skin nicely.

I think the 1.5v is the voltage of the batteries. 3x1.5 v is another way of saying AAA. Thank you for clearing that up. I feel silly now.

Thank you for he wonderfully detailed review. I really want to add this set to my collection. What is the 1.5v battery used for? Ok, I just looked again, and I have no idea what it's used for.. It's mentioned on the front of the instructions and on the AG site, but then I don't see anything else about it..hmm.. That's a bit odd that AG is telling you to run out and grab an extra battery that isn't needed. . . Love your pictures, by the way!! I'm even more excited about this set now

Now let's try them on a gal with pie bangs From the front it doesn't look that bad. . . . But this just looks silly

Pigtails with the "tails" from the bangs tucked in help keep the hairpiece in place . . .and they look adorable The caramel bangs Not quite a perfect match for Marie-Grace The caramel is actually the same color of #38's "red" wig. (Doesn't she look fun!) The clip is visible from the back

You don't really get much for $20, but so many hairstyling options are available now! I have two colors for this review, Caramel and Dark brunette. Here is Marie-Grace modeling the caramel and Josefina modeling the dark brunette. The back of the bangs, showing the mini wig cap section and attached metal hair clip. The little side "tails" fall at the shoulder. These tails are also VERY gelled when you first remove them from the package. They will need to be washed. . . They aren't flush with the rest of her wig, but the poof isn't terrible either. . . The faux scalp can look silly with some wigs #49 has a side part, but they still look lovely She now has a zig zag part similar to Jess

Has anyone had problems styling her hair? I just got my 38, Meggie yesterday. After much searching,I picked one with thinner bangs. when I took her hair out out of the ponytails,I noticed her hair is THICK. So thick, I'm not satisfied with any hairstyles I've done so far. She has short little hairs at the bottom of her wig, and some about 1/3 of the way down her wig, hidden near the scalp. Which makes any high ponytail or updo look funny on the sides (from the front, it makes her head look squarish, not smooth and round). Also, the bottom of her hair looks great when down, but looks awful and choppy when in one ponytail! It is so uneven that I cannot do a proper bun without having half the hair sticking out all over the place. It also has one tiny place at the base of her head where a few strands are glued to her neck, however I think I could easily fix that. Anyone else have this problem? I love her face, hair color and bangs but I hate her wig! Could this be a wig defect? I'm afraid that I'll get a doll with thick bangs if I were to have her head replaced. I didn't think she'd have the "middle of the head short hairs" like Kirsten for split hairstyles, either. That was part of the reason I wanted a new doll, so I wouldn't have that type of thing (although its not as severe as Kirsten's is). I'm sorry to hear about Meggie's wig issue, I hope you are able to get it resolved. I still really want #38 but I plan on leaving her hair in pigtails. Does the back of the wig look odd when her hair is in pigtails?

I thought this wasn't a must have item since it's only worn under the doll clothes, but I finally purchased two just to complete my NOLA collection. I have to say that I love this set! I ended up buying two more. One for addy and one to display on a dress form. The crinoline makes the Nola outfits fill out nicely and does just as much magic for Addy's wardrobe.

Is it possible to use her hair piece as bangs? Has anyone tried this? If so, I'd love to see pictures.
