Beach Pajamas & Slippers

This set contains pajamas, slippers and a ribbon, I got it from American Girl in May 2008. I'd wanted these from the moment I saw them as they brought to mind all those wonderful black and white movies that I love. When the new Kit stuff was due to come out with the movie and I thought it might be my last chance, I finally ordered them (yay free shipping) and I love love love them. The pajamas are a nice heavy satin in a rich blue and white, the details are nice and my only small disappointment is that since they velcro (low-snag) down the back the middy collar is split and sewn down. I like the fact that they didn't just use random flags but made sure there was a meaning. The slippers are a red vinyl with a satin edge and a pompon on the toe, the soles are a textured rubbery material that reminds me of my grandmother's old slippers. The ribbon is a red satin ribbon with fray-checked ends, I haven't needed it so it is still in the box. The set fits both my PM and Mattel dolls well which was a nice change from some of my other recent purchases. A+
