#42 is an absolutely adorable doll! Mine has a slight head tilt, which makes her look shy and inquisitive. Her eyes are pinwheel rather than decal brown, which you can see in this picture:
I agree with other reviewers that "textured" is the wrong word to describe her wig. It's a hair (ha!) coarser than my Chrissa's, but it's not all that noticeable. I like that the slight coarseness helps hold hairstyles in place. She has short hairs in the back to cover her wig cap for split hairstyles, but she has a rather inconvenient length for double braids. Pigtails are probably a better bet for her.
The current meet outfit (while a huge improvement over the last two) does nothing at all for her coloring; IMO she looks best in saturated colors. I adore the way she looks in McKenna's school outfit.
I give my Trudy Cutie an A+! I think she could time travel well, and I like her wig length. A young child might prefer longer hair for more styling options.
