I got my Marie-Grace from the Today Show deal, and she is just such a charmer. I'm very much in love with the unique heart-shaped mold and her pretty blue eyes. She makes a nice contrast with the classic molds, and IMO, fixes the "too grown-up" feel that the original Josefina mold seemed to have.

I've seen other Marie-Graces with wigs that I thought were a bit too high or low for my tastes, so I was very pleased when mine turned out to be just right.
Her part is sewn, which may give me headaches later, but is just fine for now, since I'll be leaving both NOLA girls in their meets over the holidays.
Speaking of the meet dress--the problem with it isn't very obvious in photos or artificial lighting, so I'm going to let a combination of natural lighting and flash speak for me, as a warning for people who are planning on getting this doll in the future:

Look at that fabric texture. LOOK AT IT. That is not a texture you use for clothing on a doll that little children hug and play with and sleep with in their beds at night. That is a texture that you use for outdoor upholstery on patio furniture that's going to be by the pool and thus needs to be kind of water-resistant, you know? It. Feels. WRONG. Very wrong. A real girl could not wear this dress, it would rub all her skin off in minutes.
It's really a shame, too, because the print, style, and color of this dress are just fine. In cotton, or even a nicer synthetic, this would be a lovely meet dress. But the texture and drape of the current meet dress is just plain Not Good. AG calls it "taffeta," but it doesn't feel like any taffeta I've handled before in my life. I'll probably be making MG a new pink dress, so that she can still wear her pretty little hat.
The pantalettes are much better done. The bottoms peek out in that adorable 19th-century schoolgirl way, and the lace trimmings are very cute. The boots are the nice AG faux-leather shoe that I've come to expect from their historicals.
I give the dress a C- (and it only earns THAT because the design itself is salvageable, it's only the fabric that's horrid), and the doll and her other clothes an A. Overall, a B-, but that's because the dress drags this down.
