DOLL: Light Skin, Red Hair, Blue-Grey Eyes (retired)

My co-worker purchased this doll for her grand daughter's birthday and was kind enough to bring her into work so that I could see her and write a review for the board.

This is a lovely doll. The eyes are a very realistic blue-gray color that I have seen with many real babies. The hair is a light auburn and the lashes are a slightly darker auburn. The coloring is delicate and realistic. The colors in the pink paisley sleeper are very flattering to her coloring.

Of course she comes with Bitty Bear and the Welcome Bitty Baby Memory book which is similar to the baby book my parents kept for me, and has places for Bitty Baby's information as well as that of her new Mommy.

My co-worker understandably did not want to remove Bitty Baby from her packaging, because she is to be a gift, so I did not actually get to hold her or check out the diaper. She bought the starter set which I will review, also. She said that she is tempted to get one for herself, because she is so adorable.
