The headboard opn mine is fine. Wha tI had trouble with waS the nobs that go on the posts. Mine kept coming apart with the screw stuck in the hole. I really love this bedx though the colors are so pretty. This was one of the first AG items I got. in 2000. I got it with my first doll Kit. I give it:

ETA: I have the blue nobs but I havent ever put them on the bed for more then 10 minutes. They aren't as "special" as the moons and stars
