Blue Jean Basics, Generation 1
Grade: A
Where to start? This was one of the first Girl of Today outfits and it's still classic. A red t-shirt, blue jeans, black belt and a black converse. You don't get any more modern timeless than that!
The Good:
Like I said, this outfit seemed meant to last. There are many details that make this outfit great like the little logos on the converse shoes, and the realistic removable leather belt.
The Bad:
The jeans are pretty tight. I have to struggle to get them onto my PM Today Girl and they're even snug on my skinnier Mattel dolls. This means they always look squished in the hips, and sometimes you can see the velcro closure in the front. I don't know if it was just my set, but I've noticed the "squished" look in other outfits as well.
