Adventure Outfit + Book (2007-2010)

I was intending on buying this outfit for a different doll (the Nellie I was going to customize to look like my best friend). But I decided it was more me (the compass on it is the symbol of an organization I belong to) and not her (she does not like pink). So I got it for Elise and got the matching shirt for myself.
I just tried it on last night. The shirt is absolutely cute. Very easy to put on. Hood opening is large enough to not mess up Elise's hair. It also looks extremely cute with a khaki skirt- so it matches many colors and can be worn with many things. Unlike the top for humans, the doll hood does not weigh the shirt backwards. A+ for the top.
The headband is very easy to put on. The ring is stretchy. Looks very cute on Elise's dark hair. A+ as well.
Haven't done anything with the pants so I won't grade them.
The boots- did they have to include pink in them? I wish they had put some more generic brown hiking boots that would work with more outfits. Haven't actually put them on a doll's feet yet. Also, I wish they had included socks. After all- wearing hiking boots without socks is likely to result in blisters. C for the shoes and lack of socks.
