Here's Jess in the Halloween kitty outfit.
The main portion of this costume is a black velour bodysuit. Jess is my skinniest doll, since she's my only Mattel doll, and even on her it is a challenge putting it on. It zips up the front but barely leaves enough space to push the limbs through all the pieces. It's an absolute nightmare getting this on a pre-Mattel doll. I used to put Madelaine in it for months at a time because it was so obnoxious fighting with it.
The mask is a nice plastic mask with a bit of elastic to keep it on her head. There are four whiskers attached to the bottom.
The headband is made of the same velour material as the bodysuit. BEWARE of this headband - I stored Madelaine wearing it for a very long time. When I took her out of storage, she had two huge black stains on both temples. I would encourage making sure the band ends in the doll's hair somewhere and not on her face. I'm still putting Madelaine through Oxy treatments trying to fix her.
The shoes are the same velour material as the bodysuit as well. They've got some gold stitching in them to make them look like kitty paws. They fall off Jess's feet every once in awhile but stay on my pre-Mattel dolls easily.
The trick-or-treat bag is a nice plastic pumpkin that could fit quite a few doll-size candies inside. I use it to store one of the kitty gloves (also black velour) because I've lost the other one.
My favorite detail is the mouse. He's got some elastic on him so you can wrap him around any of her arms or legs. He's white and fuzzy and very cute.

Here's a photo of the back so you can see the tail. The tail feels like it has a wire in it so in theory, you could bend it any old way you please. I've opted to leave mine straight.
Overall, I'm sorry to say, but I give this one a C+. It's an ordeal trying to put it on a doll and I'm not fan of the way it stains doll skin if left on for long periods of time.
