I think it's interesting that while AG often shows this on a blonde doll, we've all put this on our brunette dolls. I love it on MG and Molly. The dress is very sweet, and the lining is excellent! It makes the dress lie so nicely. While I'm not a huge fan of the sparkle and the flower, my target-aged daughter loves them. And, in all honesty, they don't bother me nearly as much as I thought they would. I haven't snipped the flower off yet, and that's saying a lot. 
I wish the dress were a bit longer. And, I think the shoes are the wrong season for this dress. If it's cool enough to wear this sweater dress, then it's cool enough for thin tights and corresponding footwear.
We had a same-shoe problem, too! I'll be calling customer service to see if they'll send us a new pair. (And, um...based on the other photos we also had a user malfunction in how the straps ought to be.)
