My Olivia really is one of my favorite dolls. I received her last August as a prize from The Doll Wardrobe's giveaway contest, new in box. They kindly cut the headband away from the hairnet, but that thing was so tight on her head that it must have taken at least three minutes to pry it off. I tried it on Mia afterward, but it could barely fit on her head, and it took quite a bit of shoving.
Her dress is definitely cute, and it seems like something a little girl might wear. Very summery, too, but I would have rather had a more year-round appropriate outfit. I haven't actually used it since, because it doesn't seem to flatter any of my other dolls.
Lanie's shoes are my favorite part of her outfit. After being on Olivia's feet for 2 years, the blue left no staining. They are surprisingly good for mix and match. Their style is similar to real shoes I have seen, and I love how summer-y they are!
Lanie's underwear is just standard dark blue, but I appreciate that the dragonfly is embroidered, instead of just being iron on, like American Girl tends to do. The only thing I dislike is that such a dark color does not work under lighter bottoms.
As a doll, Lanie is just stunning! Her hair was a bit messy out of the net, but it's been easy to style ever since, even after being braided. I was very worried about her hair at first, but not anymore. I also love the extra detail they put into the color with the brownish lowlights. Her side bangs do limit some styling, but they are pretty cute, and Lanie just wouldn't be the same without them. I just wouldn't give her to a younger kid, or else her hair would become a hot mess.
I personally love her hazel eye color, even though I would say it's closer to green. It is much greener than Mia's (the only other hazel eyed doll I have).
I don't have any special review pictures on hand, but Olivia is photogenic enough that I have quite a few of her.

Overall, I'd have to give Lanie an A-, because her meet outfit really seemed a bit too skimpy to justify a higher grade.
