I purchased this outfit at the original price from a very kind board member, even though I've never really liked it. Something about the intensity of the blue always seemed mismatched with the style, like the shade of blue belongs on a mail box or something instead.
After receiving it, I liked it even less. The fabric of the dress isn't my favorite and it fits too loosely, but what really gets me is the incredibly icky, plasticky lace! I really do not like that lace. Some nice lace would have drastically improved the look of the outfit. The style itself is very nice. If they'd used a slightly different color fabric and different lace, my opinion would be much higher. As is, I think this is a pretty cheap looking and feeling AG outfit. However, I originally purchased it and have kept it because it's important to me that she have her Christmas dress, both because all of my other dolls have special Christmas outfits and because this outfit is important to her stories.
My overall grade for this outfit is a C based on the reasons I gave above.
