Isabelle's Performance Set - $38

Isabelle designs this spectacular costume for her Waltz of the Flowers ballet performance. It includes:
A sleek unitard
A flowy tutu skirt made of layers of mesh and tulle
A show-stopping corsage of satin flowers embellished with ribbons, mesh, rhinestones, and sequins
Shimmery satin dance shoes with crisscross ankle ribbons
A starry rhinestone tiara and jeweled wristband that dazzle in the spotlight
I purchased Isabelle's Performance Set at AGP DC around 10:30am on January 1.
Unitard: A
Pros: Basic, easy to get on. Kind of cool to have a unitard instead of another leotard and tights.
Cons: None.
Tutu: A
Pros: Love how flowy the skirt is. Fits very well and is very easy to get on. It slips on unlike Marisol's Spotlight Tutu that snaps and hardly stay on.
Cons: None.
Corsage: A
Pros: Buttons onto the skirt so it can be easily added or removed at will. I was very skeptical, but I actually like it.
Cons: A bit odd in general to include.
Dance Shoes: B+
Pros: Love that this outfit includes shoes! Nice color, go well with the outfit but also offer versatility.
Cons: Very hard to get on and to get the straps situated correctly.
Tiara: A
Pros: Beautiful, love the rhinestones. Love that a tiara was included.
Cons: Doesn't stay on amazing well.
Wristband: B
Pros: Velvety and shiny!
Cons: Kind of strange to include in a dance costume.
Overall: A-
Very beautiful set and it includes a lot of usable pieces, but there's something about it that's just a tad off to me. We'll see if it grows on me some more.
