Skateboard Outfit and Book

Grade: A
Includes: Hoodie, shorts, tank, deck shoes, skateboard, book, and 10 rubber bands.
This is a cute, action-oriented outfit that I really enjoy. It looks like something a tomboyish girl would wear (aside from the pink) and makes a pleasant change from the frills-a-plenty the JLY line has had lately.
The hoodie: It's the same gray as the Licorice Play outfit, with a screen print of a tropical flower. Not much else to say - it fits well, and whether or not you think it's cute is a matter of opinion. I happen to think it does, as I own a number of similar sweatshirts myself.

The top: It's a nice, vibrant shade of pink. It's a good piece, though I'd have preferred another color since there are a lot of pink tanks now. C'est la vie.

The shorts: I love the camo print, and the color on its own. However, the color seems out of place with the rest of the outfit. The only other blue is on the bottom of the board, which you can't see. I think a nice green camo would have worked better, since it would match with the design on the shoes and the leaves on the sweatshirt.

The shoes: Why? WHY? Why more pink shoes? 9 out of 10 AG shoes are pink these days. Ok, yeah, cute, great detailing, but really, do we need more light pink?

The board: Overall, very cute. The top is more authentic than the last board, and it has an adorable design on the bottom. My only quibble is with the elastic band. Look, if someone can't balance their doll well enough to stand on the board, that band is too flimsy to help so it's a lost cause no matter what. Why mar a perfectly good board with that stupid band?

Hairbands: Oh, they're pink tiny hairbands. It's nice they included them, but I can see them getting lost and broken easily.
