I bought my Isabelle online from American Girl and was worried that there would be defects. But she arrived in perfect shape and is really well made. The hooks on my doll's head appear to be a little higher than on the dolls that you have. I bought the doll for myself, as my 5-year old daughter is not into dolls. Regardless, my daughter wears the extension now

My daughter also does ballet, so I hope that she gets to love Isabelle and that we can create nice clothes for her and connect to her stories through Isabelle books. For Canadians here, one can get American Girl books from chapters.ca or indigo.ca, which is cheaper than buying them directly from AG and paying for shipping and customs.
