My daughter picked this up today. It is a nicer piece that I initially thought. The sequins are part of the material and aren't in any danger of falling off. The skirt has no elastic or Velcro, it just pulls on and is so well fitted, it stays in place.
My only complaint with the skirt is that I wish it had attached shorts to make it a skort. It works fine as a dance skirt, but is a little indecent for regular wear without another item of clothing on underneath it.
