Okay, so I will admit, I passed over Molly. When I started with AG, it was Molly and Emily's archival year, I originally thought "meh". Molly's collection never enticed me, so I really didn't give her a second glance until I saw the stock photos of her in her Floral Pajamas, de-braided and without her glasses. I thought she was the most sweetest thing, and I snatched her up before she sold out.
Normally, I need to really love a doll's collection (or at least a good portion of it) to bring her home. I had no interest in Molly's era or items, but I simply could not pass her up as I felt I would regret it some day.
Molly stayed in my closet for several months as I pondered whether she would "fit" into my collection. Truthfully, her grey eyes (they appear a little grey-green to me sometimes though) and the playability of her hair is what drew me in. Right now I have Caroline and Rebecca, both curly haired gals that I try not to touch too much. Plus I really do love bangs, I think they are so adorable.
Since today is her birthday, I finally took her out, dressed her and took some photos. I'm so glad I kept her, she really is such a beautiful doll. I much prefer Molly as a modern, and since I sold off her meet outfit and glasses (really cute and well made, but I just didn't like it for her) I can't really speak on that too much.
I'm really hoping she grows on me more, I can't wait to style her hair and photograph her more. Here are a few pictures of her in the Ruffled Hoodie outfit:

Overall I give Molly an A for the doll only.
