I love this top because of its classic design and versatility. The overall outfit is really cool, though it's frustrating that the trousers have the blue cord lacing on the legs, limiting the mix potential. And the sunglasses, as I may have indicated earlier in the thread, rock. I use them ALL the time!
I don't have the white espadrilles, but I do have the red Club ones and I have the pink ones from the newer Sweetheart skirt set. I assume these are more like the red ones than the pink ones, in which case, the oversizeness that whits_end mentions is a plus! It made the red espadrilles much easier to get on - the pink ones were so difficult, I wished I had a shoehorn to use.
I actually prefer the red espadrilles to the white ones this outfit came with, because I think the white is too much white next to the pants, and the red is a great addition of color, as with the belt and hairbow (though I can't really use the bow with #28's short hair).
I do have one complaint about the top: it always rolls up at the hem! I seem to have to be always fixing it so that Beatrice's midriff isn't showing, especially since this shirt wasn't designed to be a midriff-baring style. I've tried steaming and ironing it to no avail. I guess it's just something I have to live with.
Here's a photo of the shirt with the blue skirt from Kit's treehouse outfit and the red pennyloafers from Molly's roller skating outfit. I like how this is a little bit dressier without being too dressy:

And not as good a picture, since you can't see the red espadrilles, here's the shirt with Lindsey's meet skirt. I like this as a less beachy but still classic style. I'll have to remember to take another photo for a better view:
