I got the Merry Moonlight Outfit in December of 2004. It comes with a dark blue dress, silver stockings, silver shoes, silver gloves, a silver cape, a silver bag, and six silver hairclips. It's a cute outfit, though not my favourite holiday outfit. (I was considering selling mine, but I've decided to keep it.)
The bodice and sleeves of the dress are a dark blue velvet material, with a tulle sash. The skirt of the dress is a dark blue soft tulle material, covered in silver sparkles, with a dark blue satin underskirt beneath. I count four layers of tulle, which adds a bit of volume to the dress. The velcro on the back of the dress does get snagged in the tulle, and I wish they'd used a snag-free velcro instead. As with other velvet AG dresses, the material is likely to stain doll vinyl and cloth and should be stored carefully.
The silver stockings are one of my favourite parts of this outfit. They are made with a shimery silver and slightly transparent material, with elastic to keep them up.
The silver shoes are adorable too. They fasten with little snaps and stay on with no trouble.
I'm not a big fan of the cape or the gloves. The cape is silver satin with snowflake embroidery and a snowflake broach. The gloves are silver satin and just look really awkward on the doll's hands.
The silver bag isn't anything special either. It snaps at the top and has a snowflake embroidered on the front. It's made with a really stiff material, which does not appeal to me.
The metal hairclips are adorable, however. There are six of them, each with rhinestone detail. They are very small and easily misplaced, but I've managed to keep mine for the last 9+ years.
Overall, I'd give this outfit a B because I don't care for the cape, gloves, or bag at all, but the rest of the outfit is adorable.
