School Outfit

I bought this back in the spring when it was on clearance. I grabbed it just under the wire - the day after I bought it, it was sold out! I've always thought this was a really cute outfit, and I'm not disappointed. The shirt and skirt are a little thinner than I thought they would be. Otherwise, everything is well-made and fits my plump PM Molly nicely. I was actually surprised the belt buckled at all - I figured it would be Velcro. My socks seem to be ok, with no pilling or ripping. (As Goo mentioned, they do snag easily - I got my fingernails caught on one, too.) I especially love the oxfords - they'll be nice replacements for Molly's hard-to-find Brown Oxfords. I also love that they're easy to tie (unlike the slippery laces on Molly's Saddle Shoes).

This is a really cute warm-weather school outfit for modern girls and girls from Kit's time onwards. Recommended.
