Meet Outfit II

I don't have much to add. I love this outfit. The bright color works well with the texture of the fabric--I would call the jacket tweed, but I'm not a fabric expert by any means. The weave has a mixture of pink and purple thread, the bow is a luxurious deep purple velvet, and the buttons are pink with gold settings. They seem to push it a little over the top; I think a pretty antiqued gold button would have looked nicer and more authentic.
PLEASE BE WARNED! The jacket has a front velcro closure that tends to stick to the wooly texture of the jacket very easily. It will pull on the fabric and make it fuzzy.
Overall, a B. I would like it more if the skirt and under blouse weren't attached. Making the outfit into 3 separates would have added a lot more mix and match play value. And I really don't like that velcro. It's going to make me super nervous all the time.
I too think that the old meet hat looks nice with this and helps to desaturate it a little:
I like it with her old straw hat from the purple summer outfit, too:
