Kit is a gorgeous doll. We preordered her the minute she was out so she is one of the first ones. My daughter's Kit is very rosy with beautiful coloring although lighter than the newer ones .
I think it depends on the doll. She was the first Mattel purchase having bought new P C Kirsten, Felicity and Samantha before. Even my Samantha has more rosy coloring and lip paint than another Samantha I've seen from the exact same year.
