Karate Training Set + Book (2007-2009)

I got this set because I live in a family where everyone does karate-- except for me. My dad is an 8th degree black belt and my mom and sister both take karate classes. Naturally, I thought it would be fun to get this set. Overall, I think it is very cute and accurate. The gi (AG spelled it wrong :
and pants seem very similar in material and such as the ones my family wears. The colors of the belts vary from school to school, so the set includes all the colors usually used. The purple punching/kicking pad is adorable. My family got a real kick out of it, saying they could use it to practice punching with their fingers.
My only complaint is that all the belts are too short to be tied correctly. Real karate belts have to be tied in a special way, tying them around twice and then knoting them in the front. The belts in this set are too short to tie twice around. However, it can still look realistic just tying it one around.
Overall, I give this set an A-.
