I loved pictures of Jess, but I didn't want to be left to the whims of the secondary market, so I bought #30. While I loved her face, her hair drove me to distraction. I decided to take a chance and get an actual Jess, and I am so glad I did. Her hair is a beautiful color, a very dark brown with pretty red highlights. Since mine was used, her hair didn't come in the braids, and it looks like there is less curl than some others on here. Her hair is a nice thickness and easy to work with. I know the Jess mold is prone to uneven eyes, but the Jess I got seems to have nicely matched eyes.
Jess's meet outfit is very nice. I love the bright colors on her. The halter top has some pretty embroidery of flowers and butterflies. The skirt seems to be tie-dyed stripes, pink and orange on a light tan/beige background. It is lined in tan. I don't have much to say about the flip flops, I never used them but they seem ok. I think the outfit suits Jess's story pretty well, and is cute.
