I recently bought this outfit on sale. I liked it during 2013, but not enough to pay full price for it, but figured if it showed up sometime on sale I'd pick it up.
The best thing about this outfit is the jeans. They are actually really nicely made with lots of detail. The pockets are actually real, and the stitching on them is a nice touch. They are also a nice fit, not super tight like a lot of the pants or "jeggings" that have been popular the last couple years. They get an A+ from me.
The tunic has its merits. The color is beautiful on Saige, and I love the embroidery. The fabric is not as bad as some people have said, though I agree it could have been a flowy-er fabric. The main issue I have with the tunic is it's a bit too close-fitting. A tunic of this style ought to be loose and comfy like Julie's orange tunic (which by the way looks really nice on Saige). So I will give the tunic a B. It's pretty, but should fit looser.
The shoes aren't terrible, but I agree with everyone else that they are boring. I'm very tired of ballet flats. The color also doesn't really suit the overall ensemble. I would have preferred they just not be included, and the outfit could have cost a bit less. But oh well. They get a C- from me.
Overall a decent ensemble, but I'm glad I waited for it to go on sale instead of paying full price.
