I recently purchased Version II from a board member and had no idea that the lunch box was different from Version III. Here are a couple of (best I could do with a cell phone) pictures of the differences.
I couldn't capture the color difference with my camera, but Version III is a bit darker than Version II.
Version III (right) has the visible silver hardware.
Here is a top view of the open lunch boxes.
The paint on Version II (left) comes up to the rim. The paint on Version III (right) stops 3/4 of the way up. When the lid is closed the silver is not visible.
Another look at the paint as well as the AG logo on the top lid on Version III (right).
