Grace Doll and Meet Outfit
The 18" Grace doll has sparkling blue eyes that open and close, a sprinkling of freckles on her nose, and long dark-brown hair with sideswept bangs and a tiny accent braid. She has a huggable cloth body, and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl. She comes with the Grace paperback book, plus her Paris welcome outfit:
A white top with a sparkly Paris graphic
A pink skirt with a black bow on the front
A charm bracelet that Mom gave her
Gray ankle boots with gathered straps and bows on the sides
Pink underwear

Grace's hair is silky and sleek and her sideswept bangs are quite manageable and stay in place once styled.

Her braid is quite nice, but it looks like something that would never look the same again if it was taken out and tried to be put back into a braid. (Echos of Kirsten's darling but no-touch hoop braids?)

Grace's hair is longer than the recent GOTY Isabelle's (comparison photos here), but it also a bit thinner with possibly a stronger end wave. Her hair has many highlights and lowlights in deep gold and auburn giving her hair a wonderful visual dimensionality.

Her boots are a soft canvas material and have a somewhat "slouch boot" design. No back velcro opening in these boots, they slip on with ease as is. I like the color and fabric but the canvas/cotton appearss prone to both stains and pilling. Indoor shoes only!

Her Tshirt is adorable and top notch as tshirts go, but the skirt suffers the same fabric problems as the boots-the raspberry brushed cotton skirt looked aged and also prone to pilling. The bow on the skirt is a really nice touch and is made out of a more hardy material with a slight sheen to it, giving it the appearance of faux-leather.

Finally the included charm bracelet. It is perfect in every way. Love it.
The doll and meet outfit, in spite of some questions about the durability of the skirt and boots is a complete design wow. Overall grade: A
