Grace's Baking Outfit for Dolls
This outfit includes:
A blue tee with a swirly cupcake print and three-quarter sleeves
A black knit apron dress with a pink dotted print, a pink waistband, and striped bow accents
Pink knit leggings
Blue ballet-flat shoes with black cord bows
A knotted pink elastic headband
I love everything about this outfit.
The details are spot on--the embroidered heart, which could be overly cutesy--is designed just right to be both sweet and classic. And the black-and-white striped "ribbon" bow at the waist is made of material that is stiff enough to keep its perky shape.
The back of the "apron dress" or jumper-styled apron is extremely unique, but this pink bow detail can only be seen if the hair is styled up or to the side. The jumper straps attach at the waist with velcro. To dress the doll I had her step into the skirt portion and then pulled the ladder-like straps over her head--it was quite easy, but it is definitely more "dress" or "jumper" than apron in construction.
These are the familiar usual ballet-flats style shoes, but the teal color is brilliant and the tiny bow detail just the right touch.
The hairband is light pink and lightly elasticized.
This outfit really is lovely for Grace's hair and eye coloring. I think it is one of the most adorable GOTY outfits ever designed.
