I must say that this is one of the Felicity items that is a must-have for me. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday and I was very pleased!
The pattern on the apron is very tiny, and it looks perfectly doll-scaled. It does lead me to wonder if that was intended to represent embroidery and if so, why Felicity would be making apple butter, taking care of Polly, etc. in an embroidered apron.
The skirt of the gown is surprisingly full! I'm used to the fabric-saving skirts of Mattel gowns and I was pleasantly (pun intended) that my 1996 dress has such a full skirt. Currently, Elizabeth is wearing it while asleep on the stable bench, and the dress is full enough to flow, elegant as a waterfall, all the way to the ground ~5 inches down.
It also has pockets! I don't have Lissie's undergarments but I do have a pocket I sewed, and Elizabeth can reach it without difficulty whilst in this gown.
(Elizabeth is wearing this because it's a birthday present for Felicity) The Work Gown looks gorgeous on Elizabeth! I believe the tan color in the fabric is around the same color as her hair. I'm not sure it would look good on a brunette though; I tried it on Jessamine (Jess) and it didn't look so nice. The apron FYI can probably be used for almost any post-1770s period--it looks nice on Nellie (1906), she has to wear it since I haven't made her a maid's uniform yet.
I think mine is small because it fits my Mattel dolls quite well. The apron is very versatile and looks good with her new meet gown as well. I don't have fichu or mob cap, but I think the fichu closely resembles the one she wears with the traveling gown in the movie.
All in all: A++++++++++++(imagine infinite plusses)
This was a 'Holy Grail' item for me, so to speak, and I'm not disappointed in it at all.
