My daughter loves this dress. I think it's very modern and bright. I think it is very cheery. I do like it but, again, it looks very modern to me. I like the shoes but they are much harder to get on than her previous ones. Because they now have velcro they snag the socks. They seem a bit small and could have been made a bit larger. My Addys foot is a bit too big for these.
I will start with the shoes:
The white ones are the new ones. The laces do not lace up.
They are definitely not as long. My Addy's foot did not shrink though. Lol
I would think the velcro would help young'ins put them on but they are just so small.
I LOVE the measuring tape. LOVE IT! It is ribbon but I think it works and Addy can hold it no problem.
The bird is cute and I don't think its that bad. I will keep an eye on the bottom where it comes together. If this drops I am sure it may split. Addy CAN hold it but her arm has to be set high up to do it which looks odd. I would suggest using a clear hair elastic.
Amazingly, my plastic hating daughter loves the scissors a lot. They look like OG scissors to me. Big disappointment to me. I like that Addy can hold them easily and the look great in her apron pocket.
Here is the back of the dress/apron. I do like this dress. I don't love it. But I do like it a lot.
Overall I give it an A-. The shoes are a C because they are difficult to get on. I do think it is worth the $48 because there are many pieces to this outfit and I do reccommend it for those who love Addy or want a modern dress for another doll.
