I never gave this nightgown much notice, so when it came with JSD Caroline I just gave it to my daughter (; I have to say though I find it quite lovely! The material is soft and thick and the ribbons are nice. I like the shape of it but as previous posters said it seems too decorated to be historically accurate. My daughter has it on her Molly as a dress. And really the slippers looking more like shoes anyway!
