Kit's Chicken-Keeping Set
Kit knows you should never count your chickens before they hatch—she learned that from Aunt Millie. Your girl can help Kit chase troublesome hens around the coop with this set:
Blue checked overalls with a shaped waistband and crisscross straps with pink buttons
A button-down floral shirt
A matching hairbow
Buckled brown shoes
A cute little plush chicken with an embroidered face and a soft weighted body to help her sit upright
This outfit is just too cute. I love everything about it. The pink buttons on the bib are functional, though the floral blouse itself closes in front with velcro. The fabric hairpiece was easy to slip on with the elastic gathered band. The fabric of the overalls is not only pretty but interesting to touch--it is lightweight and pleasant while also feeling slightly coarse.
The back of the overalls fits a bit baggy, but with the shape of AG doll backsides, I think this is almost unavoidable. The button here are non-functional (velcro closure).
Shoes are perfect. They slip on and off easily and close with velcro under the buckle.
The plush chicken really makes the set (more chicken closeups on my blog), my only wish would be for more chickens! And a coop! And an egg gathering basket and little eggs!
