Felicity's bed is a great piece of furniture, but it is huge and requires ample space to store and display. My bed was purchased during the early part of the Mattel transition period and is very sturdy wood. It comes with a little wrench and is easy to put together. There is a solid panel of wood that you set the mattress on top of - as you can see in the last picture, it is removable. The top canopy frame is also removable and sits on top of the bed with pegs.
The bedding comes with a mattress (the same one that comes with Samantha's bed) and a pillow. The bedspread has a pretty pattern and is cut so that it fits around the bedposts. It is very disappointing that there were no sheets with this set! The canopy covers have strings sewn at various intervals and are tied to the top canopy frame. Included are 4 side panels, a front panel, and a back panel. The top has a canopy cover that is placed over all the tied panels.
