Did someone say comparison pictures? 
These are not the best pictures, but it should give a general idea of the original purse vs the new purse (my childhood one needs the chain reattached) and the original broach vs the new necklace. You can click the images to view them larger in Photobucket! (Mod edit to remove broken image links)
I love headbands, and this one was not torture to put on although it is snug. As other reviewers have mentioned, it coordinates with more than just her Meet dress! The new purse is a bit clunky compared to the old one, but I really like the burgundy color! I'm torn about the locket because I always imagined that Samantha's locket was on a chain when reading her stories, and it is right on scale with the original broach...but it doesn't open, so there aren't any pictures of her parents inside.
All things considered, I'm going with an A-!
