I did not intend to buy this set; I picked it up in a hurry instead of the Welcome gifts that I had intended to buy, and I think this is way overpriced for what it is. Even with the approximate $5 off I got with the $10 off $50 deal under which I bought some things. $32 is the set price for this and all it includes is a cloth pursebag with vinyl/leathe strap and closur, fingerless black gloves, a heart shaped "coin purse" that doesn't close and would be ever so easy to make even for someone art challenged like me, a metro pass and lip gloss.
The bag is cute, will look nice with any of Grace's things without being "matchy matchy". Nice color/print choice. Fingerless gloves look so much better than faux gloves for these dolls, and these are cute as can be. COuld use them as boot toppers too. The lip gloss is a thrown in extra. I guess for $32, something else had to be added. Sun glasses would have been nice and a scarf as well for the price and AG still would have made out like a bandit.
Given that AG is selling similar accessory sets for about $6-7 with purses, gloves, sunglasses included, this is a very poor value set. As I stated, I did not mean to pick it up, and am tempted to exchange it for the Welcome Set that I do want to get.
My guess this will be deeply discounted at and after the end of the year, because I cannot imagine many people paying this price for the little one gets and with so much available out there for about a quarter the price. There is absolutely nothing special about this set. Not a thing. I give it a D, though the workmanship of the bag and the gloves are nice; yes, they are cute, but the value for the price is way to low for me to give it a higher grade.
