I wanted the outfit the instant I laid eyes on it. Tried to get it when AG had the $10 off $50 sale but the NYC was out of stock. So last week, I went to the store with a $10 off $100 code and bought this.
My sweater is immaculate. Hopefully, it does not snag easily. It does not appear to. I could not find a flaw in it and my #25, Cara looks terrific in it. She may claim it as she has a JG red Paris screen print tee that she is wearing with the shorts right now.
I was disappointed in the quality of the shorts, though they look great. Lots of loose threads. Not the usual AG quality, IMO.
Hate the shoes, but knew this up front. They look like Bitty shoes to me and I don't like that shade of pink with the shade of red in the outfit. So into the general shoe bin they go. My younger dolls will find use for them. I have Cara in Grace's Pink Opening Night dress sandals with the outfit, but black boots and tights can be added to the outfit for cooler weather. I think I have some black and white tennis shoes too. The bowed hairband is also pink and red, and will be used for some other outfit. A black, white, red, or silver hairband is a better match, IMO for this outfit.
I really like this outfit, so I hate detracting points due to the workmanship of the shorts and the pink shoes and headband. Would buy it despite the flaws and despite it high price tag, as most of Grace's outfits are pricey. Even at 10% off, it's a $30+ item. I give it a B in total grade, but it's a personal A+ in that I would have bought it even with the issues I've noted. It's a fresh, different look in the AG fare, I think.
