Seaside Fun
Seaside is her best side! Truly Me™ dolls will be all set to search for shells or watch the waves in this fun beach–ready outfit:
A comfy striped hoodie featuring a pink flamingo graphic
White denim shorts that have frayed leg openings and are splashed with multicolored embroidered mini icons
Turquoise sandals decorated with pretend jewels
The Seaside Fun outfit is soft, comfy, and casual. The hoodie was easy to slip over her head and I really appreciated the additional neck-to-bottom velcro in the back for ease of getting her arms into the sweater.
The embroidery on the shorts is cute, but I do wonder how long the frayed hems will last with any sort of adventurous play.
The sandals were easy to get on--I have to say it has been almost a year since I have had to gripe about shoes being too small or difficult to get onto the feet of current dolls. Color is terrific, though not a fan of the rhinestone detail.
I tried had to resist this outfit in hopes of giving my wallet less of a workout this release/debut cycle, but in the end the pullover hoodie sweater seemed so classic that I relented.
Overall grade: A- (price seems steep)
