Mixed reactions to this set. The nightgown is pretty, but mine seems kind of stiff, like someone over starched it on laundry day. It's not soft cotton like I expected. It's also cream colored, not white, so it looks a bit yellowed compared to her pantalettes that peek out under. The lace around the neckline is nice though, as well as the embroidery, though I'm not sure about the particular pattern's historical accuracy.
The slippers are a pretty shade of blue with a nice little bow, but they have shiny plastic bottoms that feel cheap. I wish they had been soft sided or rubber to be a bit more like house slippers. They can work with modern outfits too though.
