I too, love this set. It's definetly the best AG ski set I own (I have the downhill ski gear too). It comes with more things and the skis are shorter than the downhill which I like.
The boots are wonderfully easy to get on.
The heel bends back for easy access:
Look how roomy it is! The downhill boot can't do that.
I love the colors of the helmet. I decorated mine with the stickers.
The goggles are detachable in the back with a snap:
The ski pole isn't too hard to get on especially if you put it on the mitten before putting on the doll's hand.
The skis themselves are really easy to get on. You just pull the part that attaches to the boot back and slide the boot in.
The flags are such a cute addition and make the skiing play so much more fun and realistic. The green one says start, yellow is American Girl and orange is finish. They stay in their holders very well.
