Nightgown II (retired)

I finally got around to opening up this nightgown for my sweet Addy. This is a very pretty summer nightgown with a lot of intricate embroidery, lace and a bit of ribbon. Some cap sleeves, a generous cut for a full dress, and an intricate neckline are some highlights of this white nightgown with blue and spring green trim. It comes with knit sock slippers in light blue with bows in the front and scallop at the top of the bootie. As a bonus, there are two bows with combs for Addy's hair--not sure why they would go with night clothes, but a welcome additon to AG Hair wear, and would work very well with Addy's styles. Not only are the bows "extras" as compared to any number of the night sets, but they are more intricate than most of the bows and hair pieces that come with outfits. That the set is priced still at $24 and including this extra, and what I think are more detailed slippers than usual, makes it a very good deal. It's also a very nice night gown that can be worn by any of the dolls without being out of era, IMO. A modern girl would love such a nightie and knit boot slippers. I am, in fact, seeing how these will work with Rebecca's blue robe.

I give this a solid A all around.
