Ruthie came in the mail yesterday. I took a few pictures of her before taking her head off to send her to a board member for an eye-swap with Elizabeth. I bought Ruthie for her lovely gray eyes, but do plan to keep her after the swap. I plan to sell her meet outfit as she will be a modern doll, but I do really like the color and pattern of the dress. The shoes are also really nice. I am a little concerned with how dry her hair is right out of the box and I expected it to be more curly. I'll mess around with it some once she's back from "surgery". The photos are straight out of the box. I just got a Ruthie for one of my daughters on eBay. She is in nice shape, but her hair is also really dry. What did you do to get your Ruthie's hair feeling better? I actually sold her b/c I couldn't stand that hair! |
