Mini Doll - 2016 Special Edition

Grade: A- (box is difficult and not salvageable; bring back the fleshy bodies; ridiculous hair)
Mini Samantha 2016 is very hard to get out of her box. Don't plan to save the box.
Also of note: Samantha's pink hair ribbon is taped inside the box. There is also a mini book and a mini doll stand (which other AGPT members have described as leaving marks on the dolls' legs. I haven't been brave enough to check mine for the marks).
Here is 2016 Samantha with Mini Doll v1 circa 1998. They are quite different. I have to say, that while I don't like the vinyl body, her face is much of an improvement in my opinion. The vinyl body isn't terrible, but it doesn't compare to the fleshy body. Why is she so much taller?
The hair is ridiculous on Sam-2016. The pink hair ribbon is elastic and slides on fairly easily.
The pink hair ribbon and the dress are removable, though the dress has a ribbon in the back which you will need to retie. The outfit seems transferable (why I bought her on sale for $19 in the March sale, in the first place). My 1998 Mini Sam has a 3 piece wardrobe now! I love Sam's green spring dress...
Definitely worth $19, probably even worth $28.
